In this meeting as we started to develop our previous idea further we came to the conclusion that we needed a change of song as our first choice led us to feel that it was over-repetitive and the beat of the track didn't enable us enough to freely express our ideas with and in turn produce a good music video. Instead, we resorted to previous tracks brainstormed in our initial meeting and decided to see what ideas we could come up with for each of them. The two songs that we came up together with as a group were St. Jimmy by Green Day and Nine2Five by The Ordinary Boys vs. Lady Sovereign.
For these two songs we thought of developing further with the idea of intertextuality and featuring either a well-known television programme, such as The Jeremy Kyle Show, or matching the lyrics of the latter song to make the lead singer of the band a news reporter for a television channel.
