In this meeting we discussed the possible songs which we could use to create a music video for. After a while suggesting our favourite tracks and songs which we thought would be ideal to use, we came to the conclusion of deciding upon a dance track, with repetitive lyrics and a beat that we could utilise further which would allow us and our ideas to flourish freely. Technologic by Daft Punk was perfect for this. Our initial ideas involved the use of heaving editing through software which would enable us to display multiple recordings at once through split and multi screens with different actions and scenarios going on in each. As well as this idea, we also collectively came up with the inspiration to break up this continuous idea with a band performance which featured a rave scene with strobe and technical lighting based around the use of masks which covered up the band members' faces completely, leaving the audience up to suggestion to keep them interested in what would happen next. Of course, as this idea is only preliminary, we are hoping to develop it further and with this it is subject to change when our final idea is confirmed.
